Liquid applied waterproofing
A seamless, cold-applied waterproof layer for intricate roof shapes, penetrations and complex detailing.
Liquid systems are applied wet and cure into a single continuous membrane with no laps or joints. That makes them the right answer wherever a roof is complicated rather than large - plant areas dense with penetrations, upstands, plinths, gutters and awkward junctions where sheet materials have to be cut and seamed.
Cold application means no hot works, which is often decisive on occupied buildings and on sites where a hot works permit would be difficult or slow to obtain.

Top coat
The weathering surface, with an anti-slip aggregate where the roof is walked
Embedded reinforcement
Fleece worked into the wet coat at details, upstands and movement joints
Base coat

Matched to the substrate - metal, concrete, felt or an existing membrane being overlaid

Sound, dry and prepared; the system is only as good as what it is bonded to

Survey what is there
Core samples, moisture readings, a look at the deck and the drainage. A specification written without a survey is a guess with a guarantee attached.
Specify against the building
The system is chosen for the structure, the use below it and the constraints of getting it installed - not from a preferred supplier list. We tell you what we would specify and why.
Install in phases if the building needs it
Temporary roofs, weather-tight at every stage, and a programme that keeps the floors below trading. At St David's the tenants never closed.
Hand over the guarantee position
Accessories, penetrations and finishes installed as part of the system rather than added afterwards, so the manufacturer's guarantee is intact on the day it starts.
